Pola teeth whitening – it’s never been easier to whiten your smile.

What is Pola teeth whitening?

Pola is an at-home teeth whitening treatment that uses bespoke teeth whitening trays to improve the shade of your teeth. Whether you’re looking to just give a subtle extra sparkle to your smile or you are looking to significantly whiten severely yellow teeth, Pola can achieve transformative results for your smile.

Pola teeth whitening is a course of 10 to 14 days.

All of our teeth whitening treatments are planned digitally using intraoral impressions. This makes the whole comfortable and 100% bespoke.

Your teeth whitening journey

Step 1: Whitening consultation

You will need to attend a consultation prior to starting the treatment process. We will check your teeth and gums to ensure they are healthy enough to proceed with a treatment like teeth whitening. Patients must have decay and disease-free teeth before proceeding with cosmetic dental treatment.

Step 2: Making your teeth whitening aligners

Impressions (moulds) of your teeth are taken so that the whitening trays can be made by Pola. The whitening trays are sent back to the practice.

Step 3: Whitening process

Your dentist will instruct you on how to apply the whitening gel to each groove in your whitening trays. You can decide whether to wear your trays by day or night (whichever works best for you).

Step 4: Top-ups

We recommend using whitening gel every 12 months to maintain the original results of treatment. Your dentist can provide you with these gels – please do not use any gel that has not been prescribed by your dentist.

FAQs

Is the gel easy to apply?

Yes – and quick. The gel can be applied in minutes, and as the trays are made to fit your mouth, they will slot in very easily.

My daughter needed teeth out before braces were fitted and her newly privatised dentist quoted £560. Stressing about this cost especially in todays world, i immediately began looking for a new dentist. A friend referred me to Ashbourne Road Dental practice via Kerri, one of the receptionists.She was fabulous and got not only my daughter set up with an appointment but got the whole family set up here with an NHS dentist, which meant that it cost me nothing for my daughter to have her teeth out, which was amazing. Her appointment was also booked close to me ringing up, which was perfectA few appointments later, and we are still extremely happy. My daughters tooth removals went very well, and any appointments or treatments for the rest of the family have been great. The staff are all lovely and friendly and make sure they talk to my children, not just to me or my husband.My son had toothache for a few days and i rang up just after opening one day and he had an appointment an hour later.I would and have told people looking for a dentist to try here.

I cannot recommend Dr Rehman enough. I had 2 back teeth removed after suffering with severe toothache for months and he dealt with it painlessly and quickly, so relieved. Highly recommend these dentists, they are brilliant, especially Dr Rehman!

Been attending this dental practice for over 2 years now. They are fab, couldn't ask for a more compatonate team. They are all very welcoming and put you at ease. Asked about retainer's in my appointment and they did the moulds there and then, that made my life so much easier even though i was fully prepared to book a separate appointment for them.The practice is clean and very well presented over all i highly recommend them.

I joined Ashbourne Dental after moving to the area. I’m very impressed with the level of care and quality of work by Dr Ahmad. He has been clear and transparent in explaining the process and treatment needed whilst also making me feel comfortable and at ease during the treatment. I had some major treatment and didn’t have any pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr Ahmad for anyone looking for a new dentist!

My present, Dr Dawud Ahmad is keeping up the tradition of excellent service with a very friendly manner which puts me at ease.I especially like that he takes that little extra time on my six monthly checkups to give my teeth a quick clean, creating the feeling of value for money as well as a great service.

My first dentist appointment in 5 years. Always been a very nervous patient and the last dentist I saw made me feel so horrific about myself and I've been petrified since. Today was so totally different. Both staff in the room made me feel comfortable, I became upset as soon as they called my name and they sat me down with a glass of water, told me to forget about the appointment for a moment and had little chat to help calm me down. They asked if I was with someone and then fetched my husband from the waiting room to make me feel more comfortable. They were incredibly compassionate and made me feel more at ease than I've ever felt in my life at a dentist. Everything was explained to me clearly and they've made me feel so much better about my dental situation that I cried again from relief. Not my usual dentist but I was away from home when I chipped my front tooth and wanted it fixed asap. I managed to get an emergency dentist appt at Ashbourne road dental at short notice hoping for a temporary solution until I was back home and could see my own dentist. Not only was I able to be seen but I actually had a high quality painless and permanent fix on the day at a very reasonable price. Fantastic service that exceeded all expectations from Dr Hasaan and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly too. I don't live in Derby so probably won't be back but I would recommend this practice to anyone that does :)

I was seen promptly and was dealt with kindness and courtesy. It was explained that esthetically my implants would look better if I had a graft onto the lower gum. I said I was not interested however as the lower teeth were not visible at any time, even when laughing, so the Dentist was happy to proceed on the basis that the implants would be visible, but only to me! I was then given an appointment for the proper teeth to be fitted after numerous photos were taken.

They listened to what I needed and adapted accordingly. No pain, clear instructions, friendly staff and very prompt appointments.
